What is VelfibraResistant Dextrin?

Soluble Fiber, Invisible Care

VelfibraResistant Dextrin is a low molecular weight water-soluble dietary fiber extracted and refined through partial hydrolysis, polymerization, and separation processes, using non-GMO natural corn starch as raw material. The dietary fiber content of VelfibraResistant Dextrin can reach 82% or higher, belonging to the water-soluble dietary fiber category.

Its appearance is white to light yellow powder, slightly sweet and tasteless, with excellent water solubility. A 10% aqueous solution appears transparent or light yellow with a pH value of 4.0-6.0. It has low calorie content of approximately 0.5-1.5 kcal/g and high tolerance with a threshold of 45g daily.

In dairy applications, VelfibraResistant Dextrin is highly suitable for addition to various dairy products due to its excellent processing stability, low viscosity with good solubility, slightly sweet and tasteless properties that do not affect flavor.
