Oligosaccharide powder is  linear malt oligosaccharide with a specific degree of polymerization, usually composed of 4 glucose linked by α-1,4 glycosidic bonds,   generally prepared by hydrolyzing starch and a specific amylase. Its commercial products are mainly oligosaccharides with a polymerization degree of 3-6, which are generally white powder in appearance, with low sweetness  low hygroscopicity.
