Product Applications
1. Food industry: the most mainstream application field
Erythritol is mainly used as a sweetener, filler, and water retention agent in food, which can not only simulate the taste of sucrose (the sweetness is about 60%-70% of sucrose, without post-bitterness), but also avoid the health risks of traditional sugars.
1. Sugar-free / low-calorie beverages
Application products: sugar-free carbonated drinks (such as cola, sparkling water), sugar-free tea drinks (green tea, oolong tea), fruit and vegetable juices (low-sugar), plant-based milks (soy milk, oat milk), functional drinks (sports drinks, meal replacement shakes).
Function:
It provides a refreshing sweetness, without the sweetness of sucrose, and when combined with other high-level sweeteners (such as sucralose, steviol glycosides), it can mask the "metallic taste" of the latter and optimize the taste;
High temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance (stable at pH 2-12, 120°C heating), suitable for beverage sterilization (such as UHT ultra-high temperature instantaneous sterilization) and filling process;

2. Baked goods
Application products: sugar-free bread, low-calorie cake, sucrose-free biscuits, chiffon cake, mooncake (low-sugar), pie snacks.
Function:
Replace some or all of the sucrose to reduce the calorie of the product (sucrose accounts for about 20%-30% in traditional baking, and the calorie can be reduced by 15%-25% after replacement);
